Chronicles of the Nine Heavens 

This is the story of three young friends, Wu Wang, Gouzi, and Ming Zhu, and their battle of wits and courage against the sinister official, Liu Bashan, to protect the people. The male lead Wu Wang and his best friend Gouzi make a living by robbing graves. One day, he suddenly receives an assignment from Liu Bashan, who is searching for a jade piece and the tomb of the Evil Emperor to obtain the Longevity Gemstone. Realizing that Liu Bashan is not after wealth but something much sinister, he unhesitatingly teams up with Ming Zhu, a disciple of the Tianji Sect, to foil his plans.
